In connection with the execution of the work under the contract, the use of local resources, services, equipment,
materials and supplies from the Islamic Republic of Iran shall be maximized.
As a minimum, 51% of the work (i.e., Lump Sum Price) shall be placed with Iranian Companies.
The local content also includes any subcontracting of the work by the Iranian firms to foreign firms.
In the acquisition of local resources, services, equipment, materials and supplies, preference shall be given to services,
including construction, furnished by Iranian firms, Joint Ventures or consortia and articles made or produced in the Islamic Republic of Iran,
provided that these services and articles, as compared to similar services provided by foreign firms and articles of foreign origin
, can be acquired on equally advantageous conditions with due regard to their quality, quantities required,
delivery and suitability for the purpose for which they are intended.
