IRAN`S FIRST LNG PROJECT EXCEEDS %30 OF PROGRESS
The ILC Managing Director announced %30 of progress for the latest Iran LNG project status. According to Ali khayrandish, Iran LNG has a progress of %10 in LNG jetty , %70 in breakwater, %95 in general cargo and %75 in berth completion.
 
 The ILC Managing director predicted that general cargo and RORO jetties will be operational by the end of February 2010 and help to economize land transportations.
 Ali Khayrandish mentioned: “We have had %10 of progress in LNG jetties so far which will provide berthing of ships with capacity of 220.000 m3.  
 Regarding the second package of Iran LNG project Khayrandish said: “Iran and Korea have achieved a considerable record in construction of tanks. The total progress for this package is over %47 with %53 for the tanks section.   
 Khayrandish also announced %8 of progress for sweetening units, sweetening engineering %20, power plant %45 and liquefaction %7. Rough grading of whole site sections has also been completed.
 Khayrandish concluded:” Considering the current construction rate, the sweetening units will be on stream with capacity of 56 m3 by winter 2011. The power plant will also be operational by late June 2010.
