By installation of this super rig, and starting the drilling operation of 12 wells on its platform, Javadian anticipated that each well will take 61 to 85 days to be drilled.”
He pointed out that an overall 40% progress on the project including the procurement has been achieved to date, and estimated that within 5 or 6 months drilling will reach the reservoir.
According to ECO NEWS, the production capacity in Phase 12 of South Pars gas field is three folds of its ordinary phases. Some 2/3 of the productions of this phase would be dedicated to LNG production, and the remaining 1/3 would be piped to domestic gas network after processing.
